Athār was founded by Imane Maliki from a deeply personal belief that art should never be reduced to simple decoration. To her, a piece placed on a wall should do more than complete a space, it should bring presence, feeling, and a sense of meaning that quietly stays with the people who live around it.

Through brass and wood, Imane found a way to shape that belief into something tangible. She created Athār to offer handcrafted pieces that honor materials, celebrate detail, and restore a sense of dignity to contemporary art. Each work is made with care and intention, not only to be seen, but to leave a lasting impression within the spaces - and lives - it enters.
